Just like the biblical story of Jacob and Rachel, our journey together has been one of patience, trust, and unwavering faith that God was guiding our steps every moment of the way. Jasmine and Joshua’s love didn’t happen overnight—it took seven years. Seven years of growing individually as a son and daughter in the vision, of learning to trust in God’s plan, devoting ourselves entirely to serving and of faithfully waiting for the combination of God’s will and timing to intersect. For us, the number seven holds a deep significance. Seven years might seem like a long time to wait, but in the context of our love and God’s promised time deletion, it felt like just a few days. Owens, D.D. Just as Jacob worked for seven years to win Rachel's heart, Jasmine and Joshua worked through life's challenges and blessings, trusting God’s that it would all be worth the wait. In the beginning, we didn’t know how long it would take for our love story to unfold, or when it would be "the right time." We had to learn to trust in God's perfect timing and His plans for us. And while we faced moments of uncertainty and impatience, we held on to the belief that God's plan was unfolding exactly as it was meant to. Now, as we stand on the threshold of forever, we see how every moment of waiting was part of His beautiful design. Our love is more than just the connection between two people; it is the intersection of God’s will, timing, and destiny. We truly believe that He has brought us together in all three aspects, and that we are now stepping into the future He has lovingly prepared for us. It was never about rushing, but about aligning ourselves with God’s plans—and today, we are filled with joy and gratitude that His will, timing, and destiny has brought us to this moment. As we prepare for our wedding, we know that this day is not just a celebration of Jasmine and Joshua, but of God’s faithfulness, His provision, and His sovereignty.
