Things To Do

Blue Ridge Brewery

187 Depot Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
, (706) 632-6611

This is our favorite local brewery in the area! They have a great selection of their own brews, other local Georgia craft beers, as well as, all the basics... even wine and liquor! Their menu is delicious, and reasonably priced, making them one of our favorite lunch spots!

Mercier Orchards

8660 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
, (706) 632-3411

Taking home a bushel of delicious Georgia apples might not be realistic for our out of state guests... but their hot and ready Apple, Pecan, and Peach individual pies are to die for! This is an awesome tourist stop during the day if you're looking to kill some time. It can be a little crowded during the fall; but the apple tasting bar, original/hard apple ciders are great. Hot apple pies would also make an awesome midnight snack after you're done partying with us on Saturday! :)

Toccoa River Swinging Bridge Hiking Trail

Toccoa River Swinging Bridge Hiking Trail

hwy 60, Blue Ridge, GA 30513

From the intersection of Hwy 515 and Hwy 5 (McDonalds) in Blue Ridge, follow Hwy 515 East approximately 4 miles to the traffic light at Hwy 60. Turn right and go to the stop sign; then turn left on Hwy 60. Go 1.5 miles into Morganton, then turn right on Hwy 60 South toward Dahlonega for 11.3 miles passing Skeenah Mill. Another .7 miles on the right is FS 816, turn right there and follow ROUGH gravel road about 3 miles to the parking area. Short hike down to the Toccoa River & Swinging Bridge.

Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

241 Depot Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
, (877) 413-8724

The railway tour is perfect for anyone who is planning on spending an extra few days in the Blue Ridge area! The tour takes most of the day and has gorgeous mountain views, especially if some of the fall foliage is still around! The tour makes a stop in quaint McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. A single town with two names because it is split along the GA/TN state line.

Because if it's raining.... who wouldn't want to visit a weird, yet surprisingly informative, museum about the elusive Sasquatch!

Harvest On Main

576 East Main Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
, (706) 946-6164

One of our favorite places to grab a nice lunch/dinner in Blue Ridge. The food is amazing! The hours can be a little odd and reservations are recommended, especially for bigger groups, but it is well worth the wait!
