What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive early to find your seats.

What is the address of the ceremony/reception at The Refinery?

Answer

500 Missouri Ave, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 Even though it is in Indiana, it is DIRECTLY across the river, easily accessible by the main bridges. It is approximately a 7-8 minute drive from the NuLu area.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The attire is cocktail attire/semi-formal. For men: please wear a suit and tie or suit jacket with khakis/dress pants. For women: please wear a cocktail dress or a long/short formal dress.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved blocks of rooms at the AC Hotel Louisville Downtown, The Tempo by Hilton in NuLuand the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Louisville North. Please see the transportation/lodging tab on our website for direct links to our hotel blocks. PLEASE NOTE THAT ROOMS IN BLOCKS ARE LIMITED. If the block is full, we recommend calling the hotel and booking a room separately, or staying in an AirBnB. There are also plenty of nice hotels in Louisville, and Eric and I would be happy to give recommendations.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Transportation is to be determined - there is a chance we will have a bus to transport guests, but for now we recommend using Uber/Lyft. There is free parking available at the ceremony/reception and cars can be left overnight.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at the wedding venue and you may leave your car overnight if needed.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding CEREMONY is outdoor in the courtyard - dress accordingly! The reception is indoors. In the event of rain or bad weather, both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

You are not allowed to bring a plus one unless noted on your invitation/RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

March in Louisville could be any season! We expect it to be a sunny day - but please be weather-aware and check the weather before coming. The ceremony will still take place outside if chilly, so dress accordingly!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a short gap between the ceremony and reception where a cocktail hour will be hosted in the courtyard. The cocktail hour will be from approximately 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Drinks and light apps will be served.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end around 10:30pm. There is an after party at Galaxie Bar in NuLu starting around 11:00pm. Galaxie Bar is across from the AC Hotel NuLu, and the Tempo Hilton is close by/in walking distance.

Will there be other events to attend over the weekend?

Answer

The bride and groom will be at Taj Louisville - a local bar in Louisville, from 8pm-10pm on Friday night. On Saturday night, an afterparty will take place at Galaxie Bar in NuLu starting at 11:00pm. There are no other scheduled events - we hope that you use the extra time to explore some of our favorite spots in Louisville! See the "Things to Do" tab!
