Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

There is a shuttle that will take guests from the Residence Inn Marriott to the venue. The Sheraton and the Lorien Hotel do not have transportation to and from. However, both are about a mile away from the venue, so it would be a short Uber ride or about a twenty minute walk.

How will guests get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided from the ceremony location to the reception venue.

What will guests do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour either on the second floor of the venue or on the terrace outside (weather permitting).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Its spring in D.C. so weather could go either way. Plan for it to be warm but maybe bring something to cover up if needed. The ceremony will be outdoors at a park. Reception is indoors.

DUH! Please just bring some cash to tip our outstanding bartenders.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is street parking as well as parking garages nearby. There is no parking specific to the Torpedo Factory. We suggest playing it safe and taking uber. Per previous question and answer, its an open bar folks!
