Matron of Honor
It's a running joke in our Famliy that Lauren and I cannot do anything alone. Whether it's playing on the same volleyball team, attending the same college, living in the same city, and now, working for the same company, it only makes sense that Lauren would be right by my side for the wedding day. Lauren has always been more than a sister, she's been a best friend. She is always the first one to agree to an adventure (and the last one to leave said adventure), always willing to drop anything when you need her, and has been by my side through every up and down in life. I couldn't say 'I Do' without Lauren standing right there next to me.
Best Man
If you've ever hung out with Scott and Ryan together, you'd know they are two peas from the same pod. Since the day we met freshman orientation week at Purdue, Scott and I have always followed very similar life paths. Same love for sports, same college major, same ability to be directionally challenged, and now even working for the same company. Scott has been a best friend through all of life's ups and downs over the past 13 years. And now, will stand up next to Megan and I as my best man.
Matron of Honor
Nicole and I grew up like most sisters: fighting, screaming, kicking down doors, and in some cases, throwing knives. However, I can proudly say we have exited our 'fighting' era and have now entered our 'best friends' era. Nicole is the type of sister who, no matter what, will be there for you. Whether it's driving 4 hours for one afternoon of dress shopping, or discretely planning my engagement picture outfit so I 'wouldn't freak out that I had on something ugly.' She always knows just how to show up for the ones she cares about. This past October I had the honor of standing by Nicole for her wedding and I can't wait until she's right beside me during mine.
Groomsman
A true built-in-best friend for (literally) as long as I can remember. From the imaginative adventures as backyard neighbors growing up, through navigating life as freshman roommates at Purdue, to the weekend travel trips we'd make on a whim with no itinerary (shoutout Treg's work benefits) - this friendship has, truly, helped me grow into the person I am today. The wedding day wouldn't be complete without Treg's presence.
Bridesmaid
Samantha (Sam) is the type of friend they base movie roles around. We met in Kindergarten and immediately hit it off. Since that day, she's been affectionately known as the 4th Verkamp sister. Growing up as the 4th 'triplet' sister, she spent countless summer days, vacations, and weekends with our family. Samantha has always been by my side, crying through the worst moments and laughing with me as we celebrate the best ones. I can't wait to celebrate another milestone in our lives together and have you by my side for the biggest one yet.
Groomsman
Although an 8 year age gap, "baby" brother and I could not have ended up more similar. Always with a good-hearted, competitive nature in mind, Nicholas seems to rather enjoy taking his older brother's accomplishments and saying "hold my beer, watch this". If Ryan could name 80 dinosaurs growing up, Nicholas could name 100. If Ryan could rack up 25 kills in Call of Duty, Nicholas was racking up 30. Engineering degree? Nah, lets go to PA school instead. Couldn't be more proud to have Nicholas a part of Megan and I's special day.
Bridesmaid
Kristianna (aka my soon-to-be sister) and I met when Ryan and I started dating in 2021. Like most of the people in my life, she knew Ryan and I would be end-game way before I did. Since the day we met, Kristianna has always felt more like a friend than just 'Ryan's Little Sister.' She has welcomed me into her family with open arms and never fails to make me feel part. I can't wait to become the sister you never had and become part of your family as you stand by my side.
Groomsman
The adrenaline junkie of the group. Always down to dream up the next big project, spend days tearing down and designing dirtbikes, and be the first to nominate oneself for the next stunt during our "Wild Boyz" days. You name it, Jacob was all the way invested in it. As loyal as they come, and rounding out the third of the three amigos with Treg and I growing up.
