They found their perfect MATCH! Austin and Kristi matched online and quickly found themselves lost in long conversations filled with talk of their latest read, favorite music and movies, hobbies, and life goals. These conversations were of course filled with the perfect combination of Austin’s dad jokes and Kristi’s quirky humor. Just a few days later, Austin asked Kristi to meet for coffee. On July 6th, 2022, they met for the first time at The Coffee House at West End for their first date. What was expected to be a short coffee date ended up turning into a three-hour visit. By the end of the date, they both knew they wanted to see each other again. The next day, Kristi pushed aside her fear of seeming too forward and asked Austin to come walk at the park with her. When they were finished with their walk, they didn’t want their time together to end and hopped in the car to go out for dinner. Austin was leaving soon for a trip the following week. During the remaining days before his departure, the couple spent as much time together as possible. They went for morning walks, bike rides, shared dinner, grabbed far too many coffees and soaked in each other’s company. They wasted no time once Austin returned and were together again the first night he was back. Since then, a lot has happened. After a few busy and crazy months, the couple moved into their first home together on November 22nd, 2022. Sharing life has been the most joyous adventure for Austin and Kristi as they support and love each other through everything that comes their way.

Kristi and Austin were on a road trip to the Grand Canyon in celebration of their anniversary when Austin popped the question! On July 5th, 2023, the couple were making their way from Phoenix, Arizona to Williams, Arizona. They stopped in Sedona on the way for some gorgeous views, fun times, great food and of course, coffee! After spending the day walking the streets of Sedona, it was time to head to Williams for the night. The route to Williams passed through the mountains covered in pine forests. They stopped at a scenic outlook on side of the mountains to stretch their legs and take in the view. Once they reached the edge of the outlook, Austin took a few pictures, including a requested “candid” of Kristi looking out over the mountains. When she turned back around, Austin was down on one knee! And of course, Kristi said “YES"! Note: The proposal was originally planned for the couple’s anniversary on July 6th. Austin felt that the time was right and did not want to wait one more day. The entire day felt like magic from start to finish and could not have been more perfect!
