The summer of 2016---I guess you could say that's when the story of us began. Brian was getting ready for another typical summer giving admissions information sessions at Boston University, and Emily was getting ready to spend her first summer away from home...working at the same admissions visitor's center. Unknowingly to them both at the time, this was the beginning of forever. This working relationship blossomed a friendliness that everyone around them could not deny but they just "fist bumped" aside. The summer after Emily graduated from BU, they 'ran' into each other again for the first time---literally--- following the BAA 10k on Boston Common. Shortly after, on June 29, 2018, Brian sent the text that reconnected the unsuspecting couple. His simple message on a Friday night "U up for drinks?" began the adventure of a lifetime. But, it was Emily's question later that night, sitting on a park bench in Coolidge Corner, that changed their relationship forever..."I've always been curious to ask you a question about us but I don't know how to ask it..." Brian leaned in for a kiss before she could finish and said "Does that answer your question?" 5 years, a few career changes, some new hobbies (can you believe Emily's a skier now?), and a pandemic later---they can't imagine a life without each others silly banter, football sundays, and Emmy's goofy music renditions. They returned to the same park bench where they shared their first kiss in Coolidge Corner on June 8, 2022, this time Brian had a question---"will you marry me?" We can't imagine celebrating our special day without you, so we hope you'll join us as we say " I do "
