Looking to get outside for some exercise? Matt and his siblings grew up running and biking on this trail and it was one of the first things he showed Paige to sell her on living in Bethesda. The trail runs from Bethesda to Georgetown DC and passes through the beautiful neighborhood of Kenwood. Capital Bikeshare locations are located all around downtown Bethesda.
Grab a coffee and take a stroll through Paige and Matt's favorite neighborhoods around Bethesda. The neighborhoods of Edgemoor, Chevy Chase, and Kenwood are all within short walking distance of downtown Bethesda. Explore the quiet streets, beautiful landscaping and jawdropping homes surrounding our city.
Spend the day in Georgetown eating, shopping, or walking the historic streets and waterfront. Navigate every nook and cranny in DC’s oldest, yet most active, neighborhood. Stop by The Sovereign to see where Paige and Matt had their first date!

The District Wharf located on the Potomac River is home to the nation’s longest continually operating open-air fish market. The Wharf is DC’s premier waterfront destination with restaurants, bars, shops, live-music venues, and a boardwalk spanning the length of the waterfront. The Wharf is a decent trip from Bethesda, but it won't disappoint.
