Traditional Indian/Cocktail Attire
The traditional Knanaya Catholic customs performed the night before the wedding. The Mylangi Ideel is a ceremony to beautify the bride, in which the bride's paternal aunts apply henna on her palms and feet. The Chantham Charthu is the pre-wedding tradition for the groom where a ceremonial "shave" is given by the barber. Afterwards, the Ichapaddu Kodukal is a sweet giving ceremony to wish the bride & groom good luck in their future together. Shuttles will be provided for this event.
