We knew one another long before this day, but this is the day things changed. It was Maddie's 17th birthday and both of us were at good ole Rock and Bowl. As the night came to an end we ended up in the back of a minivan together. Get your mind out of the gutter! We were the only ones willing to climb in the back for the drive home. Once to her car Maddie offered Theo a ride home, because everyone else had to make last minute stops to Safeway for Mother's Day cards at 11:45pm. Theo checked in with Maddie to make sure she got home after dropping him off and we have never stopped talking since.

After a fun weekend in New York City, we took our dog on a walk where Theo popped the question. The first words out of Maddie's mouth were not PG-13, but soon after she replied YES. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Cancun!
