Although Amanda and Trey both grew up in State College and lived and worked in New York City at the same time, shockingly, their paths never crossed. That was until they both moved back to State College in the midst of the pandemic. The two finally met in the fall of 2020 and began going on dates at their local brewery, which soon blossomed into their forever.

On the second to last day of their perfect Parisian vacation, drinks at The Peninsula Hotel turned out to be the best night of their lives. Trey asked Amanda to marry him in the most magical way, with the Eiffel Tower shining brightly behind them. A lot of planning on Trey’s part went into creating the perfect proposal - the perfect time of day, the perfect place, the perfect photographer (a must if you know Amanda!), and the perfect sequence of events to get Amanda there without suspecting a thing. Trey pulled it off and it was more than she could have ever imagined, not because of the way he proposed but because she gets to marry her perfect man.
