Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. Dresses, suit and tie, or a sports coat would be appropriate for the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a firm guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

YES, PLEASE! We encourage you to tag your photos with our wedding hashtag #TheNewlyWoods2022 so we can keep track of your pictures, too! Please be mindful of the professional photographers though, they might take the shot you’re looking for!

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

So you don’t have to wait for a group shuttle when you’re ready to crash, we have recommended a few taxi companies in our “Hotel and Travel” section.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Generally the temperature is in the upper 60s in May, but anything goes in the North County! Check the weather in advance just in case.

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

Weather pending, we will be tying the knot outside on the deck. Otherwise, everything will stay on-site indoors.
