The #1 beach in the USA! The sand never gets hot and the water is calm and crystal clear during this time of year!
Lido beach
A beautiful beach that Dom & Bri workout on every week! Friends of bride and groom have formed two groups, Moai (all women) and Pathos (all men), that get together for HIIT / swim workouts (18+ only, young babies/toddlers can attend with parent's supervision).
Sunshine Skyway Bridge
If you are flying in from Tampa, take interstate 275 South to see this beautiful bridge, you have to drive over the Skyway AT LEAST ONCE in your life! The city lights up the bridge every night! If you drive over it during the day, keep a lookout for kiteboarders and windsurfers! After all, kite season will be in full swing during January ;)
North Jetty Beach
This is the shark tooth capital (of Florida)! Beautiful beach jetty that's great for relaxing and fishing! Approximately 20 minutes south of Sarasota.
Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium
Great for kids of all ages!
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art
The museum has free stroller walks on certain days of the week (see their website or Facebook page), and the Ca'd'Zan mansion is something you don't want to miss! Great for all ages and history buffs!
Sarasota Farmers Market
We walk this cute market almost every Saturday! We love Camelot Breads and Fermentilicious sauerkraut!
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Downtown Sarasota
This is highly recommended by all SRQ natives! Kid friendly and peaceful.
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
Wonderful museum in Bradenton (very close to to the Bakers Ranch)! Very close to the Bradenton Riverwalk, where there's a splash pad and park, great for children!
Cponies Beach Horseback Rides
Right in front of the Skyway Bridge, this company takes you on horseback through the Tampa Bay. This has definitely been on Brianna's must-do's for 10+ years!
