We met at work! Dom was working on a project that indirectly tied to another project Syd was working on. After a few Teams exchanges and in-office encounters, we went on our first date! Of course, our first date was January 2020. We met up often for drinks after work, and had decided to go on a "real" date out to dinner -- this was March of 2020. The world shut down, and instead of going to dinner at a restaurant, Dom made the best dinner at home. We've been inseparable ever since <3 We spent the first several months of our relationship privately because, well, there wasn't much we could do! Fast forward 3 years, in January of 2023, Dom proposed on the 3-year anniversary of our first date. He proposed in Campus Martius, the park in-between our two buildings, and where we would often meet before going to grab drinks. It was absolutely perfect.
