Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony is at 4PM, we recommend guests arriving 20-30 mins before the ceremony begins. Upon arrival you will be directed to the main tasting area where you can listen to music and enjoy a glass of wine before the ceremony if you wish. An announcement will be made when it is time to begin seating at the ceremony. A 6-person golf cart shuttle will be available to take guests to the ceremony site in the vineyards, we strongly encourage most guests to walk and reserve the shuttle for those who need assistance.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue, feel free to drive and park anywhere on site. The winery is also open prior to the ceremony, our guests are more than welcome to come early and enjoy the area before the ceremony.

Can I leave a car at the venue over night?

Answer

You may leave your car over night at the venue, but please keep in mind the property is gated - and the gate will not open up until 11:30AM on Sunday, so you will not have access to your vehicle until then.

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Yes - shuttles will be provided to the venue and from the venue to Sautee Mountain Retreat. **Please note, we are unaware of the Uber/Rideshare availability to and from the venue - so please be sure to plan accordingly.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love your kids - we cannot accommodate everyone's kids at the venue and ask that you leave the little ones with a babysitter.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is winter cocktail attire - but more than anything, we want our guests to be comfortable!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors weather permitting - although it will not be a long ceremony, it could be a little chilly. Please bring a coat to stay warm! There will be baskets of blankets in the aisles for our guests to bundle up during the ceremony. (Don't worry - you can warm up on the dance floor!) The reception and cocktail hour will be held inside following the ceremony.
