We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Both the wedding ceremony and reception are ADULT ONLY - NO KIDS ALLOWED.
For out of town guests, or those unfamiliar, Chicago has two main airports - O'Hare (ORD) & Midway (MDW) both are easily accessible to/from Downtown Chicago.
The ceremony and reception venues are in the Downtown and West Loop areas. We recommend booking a hotel in a location that is close to or in Downtown Chicago. We've made a few recommendations in our travel tab.
We strongly suggest that you take an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony in Downtown Chicago and to the reception in the West Loop. However, if you must drive, we suggest that you park at the Ovation Chicago (Reception venue) and Uber to Lyric Opera House (Ceremony venue) to avoid Downtown parking lots. If you do decide to park Downtown, we suggest dropping off any elderly people at the front entrance of Lyric Opera House to avoid excessive walking. We would also suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find deals on parking downtown.
Yes, we are aware of this holiday for some and ask that you be considerate as everyone does not partake in the festivities. Please respect the ceremony and reception venues.
Yes! We would suggest that you attend Easter Sunday service at our church, CityPoint Community Church, located at 2345 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60616. There is no dress code. Come as you are.
