Walker's is one of our favorite places to have dinner when we are celebrating! It is a wonderful gem in the Fondren neighborhood. Caroline recommends the Redfish Anna, while Toby likes the tuna. Reservations available via Resy.

Eudora's Mississippi Brasserie

We have had so many great dinners at Eudora's this year! Toby likes the quail and the duck. Caroline likes the black eye pea crusted redfish and the strawberry and candied pecan salad. The wine list and cocktail menus are great too! Reservations are available via Open Table.

Shapley's Restaurant

Shapley's is the place to go to get your red meat fix. You can't go wrong with a medium rare filet. Another pro tip: add crab meat to your house salad with parmesan peppercorn dressing.

Ely's Restaurant & Bar

Great hidden gem (tucked away on the second floor) in Ridgeland. The kibbeh and tabouli are a real treat! The steaks and cheesecake are exceptional too. Reservations are available via Open Table.

Just about an hour west of Jackson, the military park has some great walking trails and an excellent self-guided driving tour. Highly recommended for history fans.
