Will and Anna met Sophomore year of college when they were resident advisors together in South Hall on the same floor. This is also where they met many of their lifelong college friends
They started dating a few weeks into the semester after being inseperable for their RA orientation.
Second semester, Anna switched majors into Tech Ed. Now not only did they work together, but they also had most of their classes together.
Despite moving to different dorms, Will and Anna's relationship continued to grow throught the rest of college.
After coming home from his semester abroad, Will moved back to Menomonie to substitue teach while Anna finished her student teaching.
Right out of college Will and Anna took a job together working at The American School of Bangkok in Thailand.
They packed up all their worldly possessions in 2 suitcases and moved half way around the world together
Even with covid happening 6 months into their time abroad, they were able to travel all around Thailand and see the beauty of a country that they fell in love with.
On Christmas day 2020, Will gave Anna a very special gift and asked her to be his forever travel buddy
She said yes and sent them along the next path on their adventure.
In total they spent 3 years together in Thailand, moving home just this past summer.
Near the end of their time in Thiland the world finally began to open again and Will and Anna were able to visit some other countries in the world.
They visited Nepal and Malaysia (and bought lots of art)
And they found one of their favorite countries in Singapore
They even got a chance to show family and friends the country they came to call home for so many years.
They even got to chaperone a strange group of adults that made it there for 13 days
They loved their lives in Thailand, but after so long away from home, they decided it was time to come back home. At least for a while.
They're now back in Wisconsin working at Big Foot High School (yes, that's it's real name) and enjoing being able to spend time with their families and college friends again.
Even though they aren't living abroad anymore, they continue to look forward to the adventures in their lives. (This is nephew by they way, not an announcement of a child)
