Anthony & Meghan's families have known each other their whole lives. Their paternal grandparents (Antonio Lombardo, Sylvia Daniels-Lombardo, Pasquale Sinisi, & Amelia Forgione-Sinisi) traveled from Italy to America & became the dearest of friends, raising their families right next door to each other on 4th Ave. in Altoona, PA. Decades later, their families continued to spend holidays together & play on the same sports teams, but it wasn't until high school that Anthony & Meghan really got to know each other. Meghan was a Junior & Anthony was a Senior at Altoona Area High School when she asked her brother, Chris, for Anthony’s phone number...& the rest was history! Anthony asked Meghan to be his girlfriend on March 8, 2012 at Mansion Park Football Field. They spent 4 years of college & 2 years of graduate school braving the challenges of a long distance relationship, determined to one day be in the same place, together. They supported one another during every high & low of young adulthood, celebrated immense accomplishments, lost & found each other again, & grew deeper in love with every mile between them, bump in the road, & passing year. Now, over 12 years later, Meghan & Anthony still feel that they are a match made in heaven & cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together as their love continues to grow!

Throughout their relationship, Anthony & Meghan have always tried to reserve Friday evenings for "Date Night". On a beautiful summer evening in July 2023, Anthony made reservations for the two of them to dine at the Crystal Room at Bedford Springs Resort. They enjoyed a stunning dinner & toasted to their "fanciest date night yet". After dinner, Anthony convinced Meghan that all he wanted to do for the rest of the night was watch movies at home. When they pulled up to their house, he opened the car door for her & led her into their living room, which was adorned with twinkling lights, balloons, candles, flower petals, & banners that read, "It Was Always You". He pulled a hidden ring box out of a blanket basket near the stairs, got down on one knee, & asked Meghan to spend the rest of her life with him as his wife. Meghan, in a waterfall of tears, replied, "Absolutely...Yes!". Immediately following the proposal, Anthony said, "I have one more surprise for you", & led Meghan downstairs to meet their parents & siblings who had been hiding in the backyard, eagerly awaiting the news. Their families reunited & celebrated with champagne & snacks while video calling siblings that couldn't be in town for the big day. Anthony & Meghan describe this day as "the happiest day of their lives"... until October 19, 2024, of course!
