How We Met

01.29.21

We met through a dating app called Hinge. We both mentioned something on our profiles about Whataburger and I just knew I wanted to meet him. After we matched, I gave him my number and actually deleted the app. I was over it and had decided "meh, I'm not really wanting a boyfriend right now." After a few weeks of texting, we decided to meet each other to grab a drink and appetizers at a place called World of Beer. The day we planned to go out comes and my roommate/bff Jordan suggested I cancel and reschedule the date. It was her last day with her company card and she wanted to grab dinner and drinks with me. I contemplated rescheduling, but I felt the push to not cancel and I compromised with Jordan. We went to 1903 in Tallahassee for pre-date drink together. I asked Keith to pick me up from 1903 and he actually thought he was picking me up from another date! HAHA He was relieved to know that wasn't so! We ended up closing down the restaurant and sat in his truck talking for an hour afterwards in my driveway! I immediately knew he was something special!

The Proposal

07.08.23

Well, this proposal had been in the making for a hot minute. Originally, I thought we were going to Pensacola for Blue Angels Weekend and I would have to miss out on a group date night with my friends. Two days before Blue Angels Weekend, conveniently everyone we planned to go with started canceling. Admittedly, I thought to myself "YAY! Now we can attend date night in Thomasville with everyone!" So, we woke up Saturday like any other weekend and decided we needed to run some errands (mind you I had NO clue what's was in store for me.) We go to the mall to return some items, we visit Marshalls to browse there and just fiddled around. I had just started my first week as a Pharmacist, so my feet were killing me. Keith mentioned his feet were also hurting so I said "Omg should we do pedicures today?!" Keith went along with it...Somehow he managed to get me into the salon to get my nails and toes done like it was my idea! (Clever boy!) We get back home and Keith has been acting normal all day and I'm def not thinking I'm about to get engaged. We changed into our clothes and start making our way to Thomasville for dinner. On our way, Jordan calls and tells me the restaurant is running behind and that our reservation had been pushed back an hour. Conveniently, our friend Ashley wanted to get a photo with the girls in the courtyard. Of course, I'm like okay I'll meet you there! As we approach the courtyard, I noticed a photographer. At first, thought it was odd but Jordan quickly deflected by saying "okay we have to hurry because this woman is waiting for a family she is about to photograph in this area." I was like OMG of course that makes sense. We start taking photos and decide to get a couples photo as well. That's when he got down on one knee and proposed! It was beautiful and so special to have my friends there to share that moment and to celebrate after!

For all the days along the way
