get ready to party!

It honestly started as a magical day -- I woke up a few hours before Adam and decided to spend it with the Lord. After pouring myself a cup of coffee and throwing on peaceful christmas piano, I watched the snow fall slowly to the ground and started my day with the Lord. About an hour later Adam got up and made us breakfast and we were off to Jay Cooke State Park for my heavily requested winter hike. We made our way along the trail -- the air tingling with a joy unknown -- simply enjoying all God has created. Soon we made it about halfway when we turned the corner and I had to stop in order to take it all in. The trail before us with the evergreen trees to the right, harboring snow on their needles, and the deciduous trees to the left, so gracious and tall. In awe I took a few moments to savor the beauty before us. I soon turned around to see my Adam, his eyes were sparkling and the wheels were turning. After asking him what was going on inside his mind he replied with slowly going down to one knee while pulling out the ring. "Will you marry me?" I gasped, screamed, and was then speechless for the first time in my life, again he asked, "will you marry me?" "YES! YES! YES! OF COURSE! YES!" I proceeded to dance and scream my way through the remainder of the hike as we called all our family members to share in our excitement!
