We met when we were both in our senior year of high school! We sat near each other at lunch with a bunch of our friends. Jenna had the courage to ask Jon for his Snapchat. Our first date was at the movies to see Insidious: The Last Key. Jenna must have really been interested in Jon because she hates horror movies and has not watched one with Jon since. Then Jenna introduced Jon to Sonic. We would go to get drinks/milkshakes and talk for hours in the Sonic parking lot. After a few dates Jon asked Jenna if she "wanted to do this thing for real" and the rest is history!

It was a hectic July 4th weekend where both of us lost power for days after a strong storm. Most of Jon's plans had to be adjusted due to the power outage. Jon ended up asking the Pfeffer's if he could marry Jenna while the power was out and Jenna was asleep. Jon then stayed up until the early hours of the morning carefully crafting the plan to surprise Jenna with Emily. Jenna thought she was going out to the Hill to eat, but instead Jon surprised Jenna with a memory walk of our 5 years together in the park where we took prom pictures and fell in love! Thankfully, the power had came back on earlier in the day and family celebrations were able to occur after the engagement! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
