We technically first met in high school and were a part of the same graduating class. When we both decided to go to Ohio State, our mutual friend Elena encouraged us to connect before starting school. We talked briefly before running into each other randomly at the freshmen welcome event (which had 7,000 people). We started texting the first week of college and never stopped. We started dating officially in October 2015!

Aaron proposed at Ohio State at Mirror Lake. This is one of the spots that we joked about getting engaged at while we were dating in college. There were many nights when we would meet up and talk there, get lunch there, and go on walks together there. It is the site of many special moments for us and was the perfect backdrop for the proposal!
