Initially we met through mutual friends. The we became "friends" on good ol' MYSPACE! We came across each other and started with just a few messages. It quickly grew into talking all day. We understood each other, we had a solid, instant connection. And we had fun together! Even our families liked each other! We started spending nearly every day together, shopping, bbq'n, drinking beers, nights by the firepit.

We moved in together quickly. We faced so much adversity. We had a nice place, we had a lot to be thankful for and we enjoyed every minute of it. We now live in a beautiful home that we own and are enjoying life, and the benefits of working hard. We enjoy our pups, traveling, food and Kansas City Chiefs football!

It was my birthday. I had already spent most of the day and the week leading up to my birthday in panic mode that Jensta was throwing a surprise party. When it was my birthday, I had a great day and it was relaxing, except for my continued anxiety about the possible surprise party. I had to stay in our room until someone came to get me. And of course, when Roy came to get me I refused to put the blindfold on because I obviously have trust issues. He led me out to the front porch and I found my sweet soulmate in the yard. I was shaking uncontrollably. She had our closest friends and family lined around the front yard. She proposed to me down on one knee and it was the best day ever (so far! LOL).
