We are getting married!

Samantha and Austin's love story began in the winter of 2015. A senior and junior respectively, Samantha and Austin spent the rest of their high school years attending Proms, supporting each other at athletic events, and figuring out future plans. After Samantha and Austin graduated high school, the high school sweethearts took their relationship to Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Their time at Campbell would only strengthen their relationship and help both of them and their relationship grow. Samantha and Austin both participated in Greek Life, student-work, and other student organizations at Campbell. These opportunities allowed both of them to grow their social base and led to adventures that are shared between them both. Shortly after Samantha graduated from Campbell, Austin was finishing up his senior year and the couple started to live together. Living together brought its own challenges, but Samantha was able to overcome Austin's boyish behaviors. In May of 2020, Samantha and Austin continued living together and decided to add a puppy to the their family. Digi, a blue merle Australian Shepherd, brought about its own adventure for the couple and they look forward to enjoying his company for years to come!

After Austin graduated from Campbell in May 2020, he had some tough life choices ahead of him. Austin had been thinking about taking his relationship with Samantha to the next level. With Austin set to eventually join the United States Navy, he decided he wanted to show Samantha his commitment to her. He also wanted her to be apart of his journey. So, after much thought and little preparation, Austin popped the question to Samantha on a beautiful, eastern North Carolina July evening.

After getting married, Samantha and Austin plan to go wherever the Navy takes them! Samantha will continue to pursue a career in digital media, and eventually obtain a postgraduate degree in the field. Austin plans to start a career in the Navy and support Samantha's career endeavors.
