Gator Country
$$ I love Gator Country at this big grown age lol! So cool to see the gators and variety of animals they have! They even have a pool that you can swim with baby gators!
Dirty Harry's Gun Shop
$ Jose’s favorite shooting range, so relaxed compared to others!
Sushi YUKA
$$ Our fave sushi/hibachi restaurant right now! They have an all you can eat option, so go on a veryyyyy empty tummy, because there is sooo many good options!
Sake Sushi Bar & Lounge

$$ Such a good breakfast spot! If you can make the drive, the one in Beaumont is wayyy better.
Rock'n Crab
$$ Not everyone will agree with us….. but this is the best seafood restaurant to us! Very affordable and sooo good and a good vibe!

$ Aunthentic Mexican restaurant, that serves more than tacos! Breakfast is 100%!
La Vaquita Meat Market
$ We love the barbacoa and carnitas from here! The birria is also bomb (again probably just to us, *shrug*) Also a grocery store!

$ Our favorite taco spot! Literally such good tacos! Infront of El Paisano.

$$ Two level club, backyard vibe upstairs and club downstairs. Drinks are okayyyy, probably not worth buying any mixed drinks. Entrance not free.
SGS Causeway Bait & Tackle
Not the store lol! But a lot of people fish in the area. There’s places to sit and enough space to let the kids run around without having a panic attack that they’re gonna fall in the water.
Sea Rim State Park
Closest beach to Port Arthur.
Crystal Beach
A beach further out, but really nice! Everyone will probably try to convince you guys to go to Galveston, but if you’re looking more for a beach day, this is the best one. The water is waaayy more calmer than it is in Galveston and cleaner somehow. Free showers and restrooms are around. You can always start here and hop on the ferry to head to Galveston for the afternoon or night. (Beaches make me so anxious due to rough water, but I enjoy this beach a loooot. Take it from me, Bri, I’d never lie.) :) *whisper* I’ve lived here longer, I should know.
The Spot
$$ No matter if you took my advice and started in Crystal Beach or were convinced to go to Galveston, you gotta trust me when I tell you this is one of the best restaurants on the island… and it has a bar!
Underground Hall
$$ Such a cool spot, literally underground! Different food options and in Downtown Houston next to the bar street.
Cidercade Houston
$ Classic arcade game lover spot! You only pay the entrance fee and can play all the games for free! They have alcohol and you can take in your own food!
Kemah Boardwalk
$$ Better than Galvestons boardwalk! A lot of rides and shops on the boardwalk! Also free to walk in on! (I don’t think Galvestons is)
Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston
$$$ A waterpark with cool rides and a lazy river. Next to Moody Gardens which is an aquarium with a rainforest section (so cool, the animals literally are free to walk around anywhere!) and other things. Again, another fave for me (Bri) at this big age.
Dave & Buster's Friendswood
$$ We love this specific location because the mall connected to it is so kid-friendly! Also next to Red Robins! :) (Bri’s fave)
