Vaccines: This will be a vaxxed-only event. Please upload a scan/photo of your vaccine card to: https://harris-wiegand-wedding.wetransfer.com . We will not store this information. We just need to verify that everyone has been vaccinated in order to make our special day as safe as possible. Thank you in advance for understanding Masks: As of now (and in accordance with local laws), we aren't requiring masks, but we are kindly requesting that you bring a mask in case you'd like to chat with someone who'd prefer you wear a mask (more on this below). If Baltimore City should institute a new mask mandate prior to the wedding, we'll send out an email to all guests (please note that Baltimore City is a separate entity from Baltimore County). For those of you arriving from out of town, please be aware that many shops, restaurants, and hotels within Baltimore City are still requiring masks to enter, including the Revival. We know that this is most likely different from your city, and we understand that many people are tired of wearing masks. However, we respectfully ask that you adhere to each establishment's policy while visiting. Additional information: Everyone attending this event will have a different comfort level in terms of overall COVID safety. Some guests returned to indoor dining a long time ago, while others will be sitting in a room with strangers for the first time since March 2020. To help everyone navigate this strange new world, we'll be using a color coded wristband system. Each guest can choose the color that best represents their comfort level: Red - Please social distance/wear a mask when talking to me. I would prefer not to have any physical contact (hugs/hand shakes) with anyone other than close friends. Yellow - I'd like to keep my mask on, but you don't have to. But please ask before making physical contact with me, and don't be offended if I decline. Green - I'm pretty much back to how I was in the before-times
Because this was originally planned as a winter wedding, a coat check will be available to all guests. The Belvedere has insisted that we make use of this service despite the summer heat, so we thought that perhaps the best way to do that is to turn the coat check into a coat drive! If you have a gently-used coat, jacket, or other warm outer garment that needs a new home, please bring it with you! Donations will be split between Baltimore, MD and Easton, PA. For those who don’t have a spare coat but still want to participate, the following items will also be accepted: Unopened packs of socks and underwear (all genders) Unopened bars of soap (no liquid or gel soaps, ie. body washes or soap pumps — can’t have them accidentally leak in the coat check area) Unopened sticks of deodorant (no aerosols or roll-ons — again, need to avoid leaking risks) Unopened boxes of feminine hygiene products Unopened toothbrushes (no toothpaste or mouthwash — again, can’t risk leaks) We know there are other items that are normally requested and/or accepted by shelters, but due to the logistics of storing these things at the coat check area for the duration of the wedding, we won’t be able to accept things that aren’t on this list. Thank you in advance!
