We hope you enjoy reading some of the special moments that shape the story of Dean & Katie.

On a Sunday night at a bus stop, Katie asked Dean if he was going to church. It turned out he was. They ended up sitting together at mass. And that's where it all began.

One night after church, Dean brought Katie to see the best view on campus. It was a clear night with a sky full of stars. They walked back to the dorms and parted ways. Just before Katie reached her door, Dean shouted out, "We should get a cup of coffee sometime," and with a smile, Katie said, "Okay!" Within the next week, Dean stole Katie's heart with an acapella serenade, adventures in the underground tunnels of campus, and finally, the coffee date.

Dean invited Katie to explore and brought her to the place where he asked her on their first date. This time he said, "We should spend the rest of our lives together," followed by, "Will you marry me?" and Katie said, "Yes."

We said "I do" in the beautiful St. Joseph's church in Joliet followed by a car parade and small backyard reception. It was a joyous day! "I promise to be faithful to you, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, to love and honor you all the days of my life."
