July 9th, 2022 was a very special day for many reasons. On this date, my oldest sister, Mackenzie married the love of her life, Drew Foster. On that same day, I met the man who I now call “the love of my life,” their best man, Matthew Gasper. There are several things I remember about Drew and Mackenzie’s wedding, but one thing in particular stands out most of all……our ride to the reception. I remember getting to sit next to Matt in the limo. I remember thinking how easy he was to talk to especially for being complete strangers up until then. During that ride, I learned how kind, gentle, funny, and easy-going Matt is. He told me how nice I looked that day and he literally calmed me down just by saying I was going to rock my Maid of Honor speech. Fast forward to later on that year. Mackenzie and Drew reacquainted Matt and me. We met up at Oktoberfest in Seymour. I was completely smitten. He was, again, just like that very first day we met. He demonstrated the love, care, and understanding. Everything I’ve always dreamed of in a partner. Matt continues to be my rock through it all and helps me to not take life too seriously! On August 17, 2024, Matt proposed to me in front of the Blessed Mother at St. Agnes Catholic Church……..back to where started. It was the most thoughtful and sweetest proposal ever! I am so looking forward to marrying the sweetest, consistent, and goofiest goofball there is….aka my best friend! We are looking forward to being surrounded by all of our friends and family when we say our own “I do’s”….September 6th, 2025, here we come!
