Shabnam is Sakina's other older sister and best friend. These two are like two peas in a pod that can also fight like cats and dogs. But you know what they say, the people who fight the most love each other the most and it is evident by everyone around them that their sisterly love is like no other. Shabnam is one of the most caring people you will meet and has a heart of gold. You can find her during the wedding week never leaving Sakina's side and making sure the bride-to-be has everything she needs!

Sakina and Tahira first met through their mom’s, who were childhood best friends. The girls quickly became close friends and one day when they wore the same outfit to a party, they became twins for life. Sakina and Tahira share countless memories together, including Sakina visiting Tahira at USC, sleepovers, and NYE parties. The couple love Tahira’s huge heart, cheeky sense of humor and ability to find the funny side of every situation!

Sakina has known Fatema since their early teen years. They became close on a trip to India for a summer camp, where they experienced many new things in a foreign country together. They also share things in common, like passion for fashion, make up trends, and skin care. Fatema's loyalty is what Sakina loves about her. She has been a true friend through thick and thin and Sakina cannot wait to share the happiest day of her life with Fatema!

Holley has been in Sakina's life since college, where they attended a pre-college boot camp. They quickly became close while sharing a dorm suite together. Since college, the two have remained very close friends. Sakina loves that Holley is always up for anything and has always been there for her. Now, the two has become four with the addition of Holley's husband and Kunal. The couples have gotten very close and Sakina and Kunal cannot wait to have them both at their wedding and lives for years to come.

Sakina and Maria have been family friends since childhood and have grown up together. Maria claims that Sakina did not like her at first, but this is not true! It's hard not to love the amazing person that Maria is. She is not only a kind soul but also one of the smartest people on the planet, currently doing her residency in Boston. Even though Maria is younger than Sakina by a few years, Sakina has learned so much from her. American Eagle is what brought Sakina and Marissa together! They shared a summer job there in 2006, where Sakina only lasted a month. But Marissa's heart of gold kept the two in touch even after and they have been besties ever since! Marissa is one of the strongest people Sakina knows. Even with everything going on in her personal life, Marissa has never let Sakina down. She is one of the few people Sakina can count on, whether it be to vent about life, go on adventures with or share laughs. Sakina was honored to be the MoH at Marissa's wedding and now is so excited to have Marissa by her side as she says I do!

Sakina and Sonia first met in middle school - Sakina was in 6th grade and Sonia in 8th grade. It was a very interesting time in Sakina's life, but Sonia was a gem who made the awkward years go by smoothly. Since then, they have been best friends and live less than 5 miles from each other. They have gone on a lot of trips and have been through many ups and downs. But even after everything, they have stuck by each other's side like true sisters. Sonia is one of the sweetest people Sakina knows and she cannot wait to share her wedding memories with a true gem!

Sakina has known Heidy since the 6th grade. The two girls went from being awkward teenagers, to now grown women. Though they have gotten older, their sisterly bond has not changed and it is forever! Even while living far away from each other (Sakina in the Bay Area and then Heidy in Ohio for med school), they always kept in touch and remained close. Heidy is a go-getter and has recently started her residency at UCI. Sakina loves Heidy's drive and passion for knowledge. If you want to learn a thing or two, find Heidy at the wedding. The couple promises that you will also fall in love with her strong passion for knowledge!

Sakina goes way back with Michelle - the 2nd grade to be exact! Both the girls' families live less than one mile from each other so they have both spent time at each other's homes with their families. More than just friends, these two are like family! They have shared hundreds of secrets with each other, which has bonded them for life. Some of the best memories between the two have been from the many hiking trips that two have been on together. Sakina and Michelle both share a passion for nature and the love of the wilderness. They have been talking about each other's wedding since they were 10 years old and finally one of them is getting married! Sakina cannot wait to have her childhood bestie share in her special day.

Kunal has known Amit since they were 3 years old. They have grown up together ever since and have been close family friends. The bond between them has grown to not just friends, but brothers. Amit is one of the most loyal people the couple knows and Kunal couldn’t be happier to have him standing by his side on his wedding day!

Kunal and Naveen met through two close mutual friends, Amit and Sagar. Naeevn and Kunal share many memories of the single life of bars in Newport to clubs in Irvine (iLounge days) woot woot! Naveen is one of the quirkiest people the couple knows and with moves like his, there is no doubt he will be the first one up on the dance floor at the wedding!

Anuj is one of the greatest and gentle hearted human beings Kunal has come across his entire life. They have known each other since Anuj was a baby. He is the second of the Ohri's. Once you come across Anuj and his warm presence, you won't help but notice how warm hearted he truly is. However, do not be fooled by all this warm love that surrounds him because he loves to go hard in the paint and posturize you when Nilay is on his shoulders.
Rishi Mehta

Rishi and Kunal met through Amit H. and were also mutual family friends when they were in high school. Kunal grew to love Rishi because he was the one who portrayed himself as the Indian kid who was as white as they come but with a bhangra flair to top it all off. They both have a strong passion for the 49ers which leads to heated/smack talking conversations with others in their fantasy football league. Not only do they have this passion for the 49ers, but the passion for gossip is one of his special traits and Kunal loves lending a ear to him. However, Kunal would highly recommend that you never ask Rishi to email you unless you want to feel like you're reading a hundred page book.
Sameer Gupta

Sameer and Kunal met when they were balling it up on the court during a rival NJB practice in the mean streets of Orange. They lost touch in the years to come but reconnected in high school through Sameer's cousin, Rishi Gupta. Though Sameer went to Kunal and Rishi's rival high school, Sameer always found a way to come to all of their dances but never went to his own school dances. They continued there journey into college where Kunal was highly influenced by Sameer to partake in a Bhangra team at his college. After watching practices of Sameer and his Bhangra team at UCI, Kunal joined the UCR Bhangra team. Both have the skills to ball and balle balle so be ready to get your Bhangra on with them on the dance floor!
Rishi Gupta

Kunal was lucky to meet another gentle and warm hearted person in Rishi G. Kunal met Rishi in high school through Arjun. The friendship ended up developing tremendously at UCLA, where Rishi went to college. Rishi's warm heart hit almost every desi person at UCLA and before you knew it, he became Mr. India. Rishi is not only a bright minded individual, he always helps people he is closest too when they need it the most. Rishi is an avid collector and connoisseur of whiskey and has one of the best collections. Kunal knows that Rishi also has amazing dance skills that he saw plenty of in high school and hopes to see his infamous "Jig" on the dance floor at his wedding!
Arjun Ohri

Kunal has known Arjun since a very young age. Kunal, Arjun and Amit were all close in age and became a strong group of friends. Arjun and Kunal started their NJB careers at around the same time hoping one could make it to the NBA but neither was successful. Arjun has taught Kunal many things starting at a young age and has continued to do so. Kunal admires Arjun and is looking forward to celebrating all of his wedding festivities with a great man!
Ajay Ohri

Kunal has known Ajay since he was a baby. Ajay is the third of the Ohri's. They both enjoyed the Mighty Ducks movie series as children. This influenced there die hard passion for hockey and the Anaheim Ducks and from that, their bond was set for life. Not only is Ajay a passionate soccer enthusiast, he can Will Smith anyone out on the dance floor. You've all been warned!
Justis George

Justis and Kunal had met through Anuj at UC Irvine when Justis and Anuj were roommates. It was then when Kunal realized how much Justis had a sweet tooth just like him and so their sweet friendship began! The fact that Justis would finish an entire bag of Albertson's Cookies while watching Lost proved to be worthy. Though, this worthiness faded when Kunal found out that Justis whole heartedly loves everything related to Dallas sports teams, which Kunal now has a strong hatred for because of this man. Justis is known to spice things up in the kitchen with his Gordon Ramsey cooking skills but be careful if you take him out at night, he might pass out on a chair right next to the dance floor.
