Fish Creek Falls

Fish Creek Falls is a can't miss in Steamboat Springs. It is just a quarter-mile down to the base of the falls. There is a bit of an incline, but the distance is short. Up for more? Head to the second falls, 2.25 miles from the first falls. Also check out the Fish Creek Falls Overlook Trail nearby.

Spring Creek Trail Head

The Spring Creek trailhead is just minutes from downtown. The first part of the trail is very flat and wide, perfect for all ages and ability levels. This is a 10.1 mile out-and-back trail so you can stay on the trail as long as you wish.

Yampa River Core Trail

Yampa Valley Core Trail is perfect of a leisurely stroll along the Yampa river. This 7.5 mile paved trail runs between downtown and the mountain base area. Be sure to check out the Yampa River Botanic Park along the way.
