What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to dress up as much as they would like. For men, jeans and a nice button-down are great. For the ladies, wear what you feel best in! Think "Sunday best." Note that the venue is on the water, so be prepared for the possibility of chilly, windy conditions. In the event of cold temperatures, heaters will be available inside the reception tent, but the ceremony will be held outside unless adverse weather is expected.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To ensure all the adults can fully enjoy the festivities of the evening, we ask that you please leave your children at home unless their names are on your invitation. We would love for you to be able to enjoy our wedding as a fun night out! We appreciate your help with this request. If children are included on your invitation, please note that the wedding will take place on a waterfront property with direct access to the water, which may affect your decision about whether to bring them. No childcare will be provided at the wedding.

I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

The couple will not be booking a hotel block, so out-of-town guests are asked to find their own overnight accommodations. The area has an abundance of hotels and vacation rentals such as Airbnbs and Vrbos. However, we do recommend you reserve a place as soon as possible, as there will be a music festival in town the weekend of the 5th and lodging will book quickly.
