If you have any other questions that aren't listed here, please contact Amanda at (862) 202-0873.
Question

What is the rehearsal dinner dress code?

Answer

For those joining us, please wear semi-formal attire, i.e. khakis, collared shirt, etc. Please no jeans, sneakers, or hats of any kind!

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5:30pm. Please arrive by 5:15pm to ensure you are seated and ready to go by 5:30pm. If you plan on being late or if you're accidentally running late, please remain in your vehicle until 6pm and join us for the cocktail hour.

Question

What time is the reception?

Answer

The reception starts at 7pm and will run until 10:45pm. The bride and groom will be having an intimate and private "last dance" at the end of the night, so we are requesting that the ballroom be empty by 10:45pm.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in your finest "black tie affair" attire. We are requesting that all our guests arrive in black attire, with the exception of the entire bridal party. For men: black pants, black/white shirt, and an optional black jacket, if you already have one. For women: black dress or nice black trousers. Does not mean "gown", but a nice black dress. **Please no white. If you have further questions on this, please reach out to me directly at (862) 202-0873.

Question

What's the parking like and will there be transportation?

Answer

Parking is ample! When you turn into the parking lot, you will need to enter through the side door, but there is an entire parking lot behind the building. You can park in any of the empty spaces, so long as they are not marked otherwise. We will not be providing any transportation, so please drink responsibly and drive carefully. If needed, you can always order an Uber.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! The hotel block is with Courtyard Wall at Monmouth Shores Corporate Park at 1302 Campus Parkway Wall, NJ 07753. There is no discount code, just use the link provided in the Travel tab of this site or copy and paste the link below. It's about 20 minutes from the wedding venue, so please plan accordingly. https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1690907127712&key=GRP&app=resvlink&aff=MARWW&affname=10l1110&co=WW&nt=PH

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. If you are driving, please be extra careful! There will also be Bride's and Groom's signature drinks available!

Question

What will the day look like?

Answer

There will be a small ceremony at Spring Lake Manor, followed by a cocktail hour and reception. We are hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but that will be a decision that's made as we get closer, as it's weather permitting. Seating assignments will be available for viewing during the cocktail hour.

Question

What will the music be like?

Answer

We will be having a DJ. We will do our best to play a wide variety of music, but the DJ will be playing the Cha Cha Slide and a few other silly dance songs of the sort!

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will be held at Spring Lake Manor in Spring Lake, NJ.

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We are hoping for an outdoor ceremony, as it'll only be about 15-20 minutes. Everything else will be indoor and, weather permitting, we will have access to the outdoor space during the reception.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will all be moving to the cocktail hour area. We will have ample food during the cocktail hour - many hors d'oeuvres, Italian antipasto, etc. - but don't forget to save room for dinner!

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

The morning after the wedding, the bride and groom will be enjoying brunch at a local spot. If you'd like to join us to eat and/or say goodbye before heading home, you are more than welcome!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Everyone can RSVP right through this website. If you have any issues with RSVPing, please let Amanda know so she can help you out!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please get your RSVP to us by January 25th! You can RSVP here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/thefredas/rsvp

Question

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

Since we have huge extended families, we've chosen to limit our guest list to those 21+, and we hope you understand. We want you to enjoy your night and "feel Freda relax and celebrate" with us, child-free.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. What's the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We have a place within the RSVP to the reception that will allow you to tell me about any dietary restrictions you have. I will work with the venue to accommodate those.

Question

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Answer

We are registered with Amazon and any gifts purchased via Amazon will be shipped right to us. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #finallyfredalove so we can see them, too!

Question

I have a question that I just can't find the answer to. What's the best way to contact you?

Answer

You can reach Amanda at (862) 202-0873 via text or phone call with any additional questions you may have.
