This day has been a long time coming for Brianna and Justin, their families and their friends, as the two have known each other since they were little kids. When they were young, it was a childhood crush (mostly on Brianna’s part). She would jump at every opportunity to be around the neighborhood bad boy. This meant that she spent a lot of time at her Uncle Stevie and Aunt Beth’s house who conveniently lived next door to the Feldman’s. Brianna and Justin owe a big thank you to the 5 Tyler Drive household because if it wasn’t for them, this union may not have happened. The tides turned during their teenage years when Justin suddenly became the one chasing Brianna. Whether it was going to all the Hart parties at Pam and Brian’s house (Brianna’s parents) or joining family trips, Justin’s persistency eventually got him the girl. Early adulthood was the “official” start for their relationship. Before Brianna left to start college in Georgia, Justin popped the first big relationship question - asking Brianna to be his girlfriend - thanks to pressure from Brianna’s sister Kelsey. Although they were a 17-hour car ride apart, which Justin drove many times during those 4 years, distance truly made their hearts grow fonder. The next major milestone came after Brianna graduated college and came home. Less than a year later, the pandemic hit which pushed their relationship to the next level - living together. Brianna became the third roommate (or third wheel) at 19 Middlesex Road where Justin and Stevie (Brianna’s cousin and Justin’s best friend) were living. When the housing market skyrocketed, the boys decided to take advantage of the favorable situation and sell their house. Brianna and Justin traded one roommate for two and moved in with Kendra and Tyler (Brianna’s sister and her sister’s boyfriend), whom they still live with. That takes us to this past May when Justin popped the second major relationship question and asked Brianna to marry him. He chose to propose on the hill behind where they both grew up and where he and Brianna spend lots of time skeet shooting, having bonfires and stuffing their faces with sausage and peppers. Their engagement night was no different. Brianna wore her typical shooting outfit of biker shorts and muck boots and had a 30-rack of Coors in her hands. Justin was dressed in his usual flannel and khakis and had his backpack filled with ammo and ear plugs. The only thing unusual was the picnic setup waiting for Brianna on the top of the hill and the ring waiting in Justin’s pocket. They spent that night celebrating with their families knowing - It was always them.
