When is the deadline for the RSVP?

Answer

We would love for everyone to be at our wedding. Due to limited seating, our venue requested to finalize the guest list by February 15, 2025 so we can make proper arrangements.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

If you're staying at the Princesa Garden Hotel, both the chapel and reception are conveniently located within the property. Golf carts will be available if your room is farther from the venue. For guests staying at the Acacia Treehouse Hotel, we’re arranging a van service to pick you up in batches at scheduled times. If you’re staying at another hotel, check with your accommodation for shuttle services. If needed, we’d be happy to assist in arranging transportation for you.

Will your wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The chapel is indoors but does not have air conditioning; however, we’ve arranged cooling fans for your comfort. The cocktail hour will take place in the outdoor hall adjacent to the reception venue, while the reception itself will be held inside an air-conditioned hall.

Does Princesa Garden offer discount to our guests?

Answer

Yes, the hotel is offering a 30% discount on posted rates for our guests. To take advantage of this, please share your check-in and check-out dates, as well as your preferred room type, and we’ll handle the submission to the hotel. Payment can be made upon arrival. If you’re unable to keep your reservation, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible. The hotel also frequently offers early bird promos, with discounts of up to 35%. Feel free to book directly through their website if you prefer.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Ladies: Midi or long semi-formal dresses or jumpsuits. Gentlemen: Barong Tagalog or short-sleeve polo barong. We strongly recommend against wearing suits or coats.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

Yes, thank you for asking. We prefer our guests to wear earth or neutral solid colors. No floral or blacks.

Where can I buy Barong Tagalog?

Answer

For guests based in the US, we purchased the groomsmen's barongs from Hibla Limited (https://www.hiblaltd.com/). If you'd like a custom-made barong, please note that there is a six-week lead time. Additionally, you can find great barong options on Etsy and Amazon.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

April is Philippines' peak summer. Temperature will be between 31°-40°C (87°-100°F) dry heat.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, our seating is limited. Your invitation will specify if a plus one has been allotted for you. If you'd like to bring an additional guest, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability. Thank you for your understanding!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

During the cocktail hour, we’ll be serving a mix of Filipino snacks and classic American finger foods. For the reception, food will be served buffet-style, featuring a delicious selection of Asian, American, and Filipino dishes.

Can I bring my own drink?

Answer

Technically, yes! The venue allows us to bring up to five bottles of alcohol, but any additional bottles will have a corkage fee. If you’re planning to BYOB, please let us know in advance. Don't worry, we're making sure there's plenty for everyone!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. We’ve already ensured that peanuts are excluded from the menu and have specifically requested vegetable dishes to be prepared as purely vegan.

Yes, there will be an open bar for your enjoyment. Feel free to show your appreciation by tipping the bartenders!

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we are truly grateful for the effort and expense of traveling to celebrate with us. For those who have kindly asked about our registry, we’ve included a link on the "Registry" page of our website. As we’ll be traveling back to the US, we would deeply appreciate monetary gifts. If you prefer to send a physical gift, we kindly ask that it be delivered before April 20th or after May 3rd. Thank you so much for your love and thoughtfulness—it means the world to us!
