Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please no jeans or shorts.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list due to our venue size. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a garden outdoors and the reception will be held indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony no later than 3:15 pm so we many promptly begin at 3:30 pm. There is a little walk from the parking lot to the ceremony space so please plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is unlimited free parking for the ceremony space. When arriving at the reception we suggest taking a shuttle or uber from your hotel. River Center parking is located in Lot B, directly west of the building, with over 250 parking spots and overflow parking if needed. The cost is $10 per car. Your car can stay overnight and be picked up anytime Sunday.

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, brewerys and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding. We are so excited to share all the things we love about DSM with our family and friends!
