What's the dress code?

Black Tie, Sunset Glam! Please wear sunset colored attire and/or accessories. Inspo can be found on our Pinterest Board- https://pin.it/38b665F To honor Madison's late grandfather, Richard W. Potts, Sr., the couple would love all guests to dress in a color(s) of the sunset (pinks, oranges, yellows, purples, blues). The LBI sunset was one of Madison's grandfathers' favorite things to sit on the front porch and watch, and holds special meaning for her family. Floor length sunset colored gowns can be found at many retailers, including Nordstrom, Rent the Runway, Bloomingdale's, Lulu's, Revolve, ASOS, Nuuly, Fashion Pass and more! Ladies, please DO NOT WEAR black or any shade of white (cream, ivory, patterns that are mostly white, etc).

Can I bring a date? A friend? My kids?

Our invitations will be addressed specifically to those individuals that we hope will join us. While we love your little ones, please make arrangements for night of care.

When should I RSVP by?

RSVPs are due by April 6, 2024. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, unfortunately we will have to mark you as a No.

Yes, Bonnet Island Estate has a large gravel parking lot in front of the venue.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We prefer to have an unplugged ceremony. We would love to see your faces, not your devices. As we are photo lovers, our officiant will announce a "social media minute" where you can get in all your pictures! We also hired great photographers for this specific reason, and we promise to share all of our beautiful photos with you.
