In January 2019, Joseph and Jess first met at a worship night during their senior year of high school. The two quickly hit it off and started spending time together as friends. Their friendship grew over the next two years, and they eventually decided to take their relationship to the next level. Wanting to start their journey the “right way,” they sought guidance from the Lord and prayed for direction. After a week of prayer and countless deep conversations, Joseph finally asked Jess to be his girlfriend during her visit to Fort Worth on March 3, 2021. As they began dating, they learned more about each other’s interests, values, and future goals, solidifying their connection. On December 16, 2022 Joseph took Jess on a romantic picnic date at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. It was there that Joseph asked Jess to marry him, and she said yes! Excited about spending the rest of their lives together, they set their wedding date for January 14, 2024. Joseph and Jess’s love story is a testament to the power of faith and prayer in building a strong foundation for a relationship.
