We're excited for our big day to mix the sophistication of a black tie event with the relaxed elegance of a garden event. We want guests to look their absolute best while feeling comfortable. For those who choose to dress Black Tie Optional, take this chance to go all out in your fanciest clothes. Ladies, this means a stunning long gown in a classic color, or something flashy that suits your style. Gentlemen, you can't go wrong with a traditional tuxedo. For the Garden Formal vibe, imagine dressing up with a touch of nature-inspired flair. Ladies, pick a dress that's knee-length or longer, in colors that match the garden setting - embrace floral prints! Additionally, friendly reminder that this is an outdoor venue! Consider swapping the stilettos for a pair of wedges or block heels. Gentlemen, stick with a formal suit or tux, but don't be afraid to incorporate color! Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the outer envelope of your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!
Absolutely - there are detailed hotel recommendations including our wedding room block on the "Travel" page of our site.
To ensure our ceremony is truly intimate and memorable, we kindly ask you to join us in observing an "unplugged" ceremony. Once the ceremony begins, please put away and silence all phones. We have a talented photography and videography team to capture the moment, and after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. Don't forget to share them with us!
Our venue has free on-site parking. There is a lot on the corner of Congress Avenue and Elmwood Avenue, as well as a smaller lot north of the Mansion on Algoma Boulevard. Alternatively, we encourage guests to consider utilizing an Uber or Lyft from their hotels.
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
