A favorite hotel of ours and where our welcome party is located: Newport Harbor Island Resort on Goat Island is less than a mile from wedding venue but has many transportation options into town such as shuttle bus/boat services. Downtown Newport Hotels: Hammetts Hotel, Hotel Viking, The Vanderbilt, Newport Harbor Hotel, Newport Bay Club & Hotel, The Marriott, The Brenton Hotel, Club Wyndham, Forty 1 North (all are various locations along Thames) **These hotels may be more expensive, but they are most convenient as you can walk to the ceremony and reception**

Middletown Hotels by the Water: Wyndham Newport, Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, Sea Breeze Inn & The Cliffside Inn **These hotels may be slightly less expensive and a quick 5-10 minute drive to downtown Newport, and walking distance to first beach** Middletown Hotels: The Pell by Hyatt, Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Sonesta Select, Residence Inn by Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn. **These hotels will be the least expensive and still only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Newport**
