I'll love you for a thousand years more

We met in a Sabbath School class and didn't think too much of it. Belinda was introduced to Dwayne as the boy who just celebrated his 18th birthday but never even knew. As she fussed at him, his response was "I didn't think you cared." But much to his surprise, that would be the last birthday he would spend without a special friend. Paying little mind to that Sabbath, they would pass each other in the halls just saying hi and bye. Then one weekend, she went missing. She went on the church's Pathfinder Camporee trip and he recognized she wasn't there. Upon her return, he questioned where she was as she never misses a Sabbath opportunity to fellowship. Short time after, numbers were exchanged to which her initial introduction was "Hi. It's Belong." Little did she know that she would belong with him and their paths were set. June 2, that year after she graduated, he asked her to be his sweetheart. Spending time together in both church, and Broward College, even up to the University of Florida, they grew together in love. On December 25, 2022, Dwayne made the steps to propose to Belinda. She said "Yes!," so now we’re getting married June 11, 2023.
