The Canopy is also just a few minutes from the wedding venue and welcome party, as well as Gold Park, several coffee shops and restaurants, and has great amenities! The wedding party will be hanging here the morning of the wedding, and there will be a shuttle service offering pick up from the Canopy to Nicollet Island Pavillion. Nicollet Island Inn

This quintessential Inn is literally across the parking lot from our wedding venue. If you are looking for the easiest place to stay with close proximity this is probably it! It is sweet, charming, and has one of the best and most knowledgeable bartenders you'll ever come across. We love grabbing a drink on a cozy night and overlooking the Mississippi. You definitely get the midwest charm here, but it is on the smaller side and they fill up quickly. We do not currently have a block here but the Inn is very reasonably priced.

Alma

ALMA is such a special boutique hotel/cafe. We love grabbing a coffee and pastry here, a glass of wine, or browsing their apothecary. Alma is also only a few blocks from Nicollet Island Pavillion and right on main street by the Mississippi! If you're looking for a smaller boutique hotel that pays attention to the details, AND is in a great location this is the spot for you! If you don't end up staying here we recommend stopping for a coffee or oat milk latte :)

While it may be a little too chilly at the end of October to enjoy a cocktail on their terrace, if the sun is shining this is a great spot to grab an Aperol Spritz by the pool and take on the view of downtown! This four seasons is only a few years old, and only a few blocks from both the Hewing Hotel (Rehearsal/welcome party) and just across the river from the wedding venue! You'll be in the heart of the action downtown, but with easy access to wedding events!
