If you know us, you know we are equally as sentimental as we are celebratory! Lindsay grew up coming to this beach with her dad's side of the family, and it is one of her favorite places. When Christian made his first trip to the coast in 2022, it was the place where we first said "I love you" to each other. We also wanted to give our guests an experience of fun with some summer sun! We are hoping everyone will make the most of their time here and enjoy what the beach has to offer as well as celebrate with us. See the "Things to do" tab for more information on our favorite spots!
All of our events are indoors, so no matter the weather we will still have a great time (and air conditioning!). June at the beach typically is in the high 70s-low 80s with a nice ocean breeze. Feel free to join the couple in praying for no rain!
There are Ubers and taxis available on the island, although at times can be sparse. We would recommend at least one member of your party have a car available to drive, particularly if you are staying for more that just the weekend. However, be mindful of the speed limits and DUI check-points along the island, as the cops do not mess around! There will be shuttle service to and from the DoubleTree for the wedding day as well.
For the Welcome Party (held on Friday night, see "Wedding Events" tab for more details), we are encouraging a Summer Party attire. Sundresses and skirts for the ladies, no jacket required for the gentlemen. For the wedding day, the attire is "Coastal Cocktail." Cocktail, midi, or maxi length dresses and jumpsuits will all work. Summery shades and patterns are encouraged! For the men, suit and tie or pants and a blazer, no tuxedo necessary. For the Casingal side of the family, barongs are also welcome!
