Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

It is black tie optional. Just be comfortable enough to dance!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

With the church only being 0.5 miles from the venue and hotels, we will not be providing a shuttle. If you are unable to make the walk, there is some metered spots around the church along with a garage around the corner. Uber and Lyft are also easy options!

Question

Will the ceremony flow into the reception?

Answer

There is a 3 hour gap between the end of the ceremony and the start to cocktail hour since the Library is open to the public until 5pm. During this time, feel free to linger after to see the couple, grab a drink and snack at any of the awesome bars or restaurants around the neighborhood, or check out some awesome sites! Check out the “Things to Do” page for some suggestions for that time and the weekend.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with you and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your understanding that this will be an adults-only celebration. Clearly, we adore children and love having them around, but unless otherwise discussed, we have decided to keep the guest list exclusive to adults. This choice allows parents to have a well-deserved night out! We appreciate your support in creating an intimate and joyous experience for all our guests. If you need assistance in finding a babysitter during the wedding, please don't hesitate to reach out, and we'll be more than happy to help!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One to the Wedding?

Answer

We understand that weddings are a time for celebration and sharing special moments with your loved ones. At our wedding, we want to ensure that everyone has a memorable and joyous experience. However, due to various factors, we kindly ask for your understanding in our approach to plus-one invitations. Our wedding guest list has been thoughtfully curated to accommodate the venue capacity and to create an intimate and meaningful atmosphere for all attendees. As much as we would love to extend plus-one invitations to everyone, it might not be feasible in every case. Inviting plus-ones is primarily reserved for guests who are in committed relationships or married. If you have received a wedding invitation addressed only to you, we kindly request that you attend solo. This approach allows us to accommodate as many dear friends and family members as possible while maintaining the cozy ambiance we envision for our special day. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our decision regarding plus-one invitations. We assure you that we are thrilled to celebrate with each and every one of our guests and are excited to share this significant occasion with you. If you have any questions or concerns about the wedding arrangements, feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for being a part of our lives and making our wedding day all the more meaningful.

Question

How can we share our pictures and the videos with Kelsey and Carter?

Answer

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us document our special day! We can wait to see all of the moments you captured. We have created a google album where everyone can add pictured to be shared with the couple and other guests. If you are having trouble with the link, feel free to text or email (ckbuff19@gmail.com) pictures and videos! We will be sharing our pictures on that album once we get our pictures and videos from the photographers and videographers. https://photos.app.goo.gl/jW3xGqLXbykuBTpJA
