THE TWO BECAME ONE.

Brian and Masego met in the summer of 2019 at a Wine and Balloon festival. The two began a journey of adventures, family gatherings filled with laughter and shenanigans, travel, Huskers football and volleyball games, and family movie nights. Brian's humor and superb planning skills melted Masego's heart early on that they still joke about their second date to Fontenelle Forest for an early morning hike. Masego is an early riser and wanted to go for the hike at dawn. She was thrilled to see Brian, he was all packed up with water, snacks, and everything else in the backpack. By the way, Brian is not a morning person but was excited to see Masego again as he enjoyed her joyous personality and laughter. Driving closer to Fontenelle Forest, Brian gently screamed, "Look, there’s a deer". And of course, Masego fell for it. It was a concrete deer adorning the front of someone's house. But as they rounded the corner on their drive, there was a house with several real deer on the front lawn. Needless to say, this was a memorable date the couple still loves to talk about. Brian and Masego's shared interest in the outdoors, nature, serving the community, traveling, and spending time with family brought them even closer to each other. After overcoming life-changing divorces, both Brian and Masego have found the courage and faith to explore love again. They both believe restoration and healing is possible. Brian proposed to Masego in the summer of 2023 over her 40th birthday party surrounded by family and friends. On April 4th 2024, Brian and Masego entered into holy covenant and exchanged their vows among close family and friends in Omaha, NE. They now invite more family and friends to celebrate their marriage and their new journey. This will be a reception but casual and family-friendly, over Labor Day weekend.
