HOW TO GET TO CUENCA There are two major airports in Ecuador. One is in the city of Guayaquil and the other is in Quito. From the MARISCAL SUCRE AIRPORT in QUITO, you can take a direct flight to MARISCAL LA MAR AIRPORT of CUENCA and arrive in minutes. AVIANCA and LATAM AIRLINES are the two domestic airlines with convenient schedules. If you choose to arrive at the JOSÉ JOAQUIN DE OLMEDO AIRPORT in GUAYAQUIL, you have the option of a private bus that we will provide for groups. The ride is approximately 3-4 hours. If you're traveling from Miami, American Airlines is the only direct, non-stop airline that flies directly into Ecuador with flexible times.
