They met on the world wide web.... Paul + Vanessa actually matched on both Tinder & Hinge! They first matched on Tinder and Paul made the first move, but it didn't take.... A few weeks later, they matched on Hinge! He gave it a second try and said the ole "I know you from somewhere" (somewhere being Tinder), but Vanessa fell for it... They talked for a couple weeks, then decided to meet up for a drink at Harry's Bar & Tables! As they say, the rest is history!

As we all know, 2020 was a weird year for Christmas so plans kept falling through. Paul + Vanessa decided it'd be a good idea to have a date day! So they started at Restless Spirits so Vanessa could grab a Christmas present for her dad then then were going to go get lunch - Paul wouldn't say where! After spending some quality time at Restless Spirits, it was time to go! They went to Gram & Dunn (one of our first dinner locations in the beginning!) for a late lunch then went home before heading to Vanessa's parents for Christmas Eve! When they got home, Paul's last present from Vanessa had arrived so Vanessa ran out of the car to the front door so he wouldn't see it. He came up behind her and said he didn't get her anything for Christmas... except then got down on one knee and proposed! The doorbell cam got it all (even Vanessa shoving Paul out of the way in the beginning!) It was a perfect and extra special Christmas!
