Funny story… Tanner and I first saw each other at a drift event in August of 2019. I was there with my twin brother and he was driving the track. No matter how many excuses he made to walk by me, he was too shy to come up to say hi. Later that year, Alec and him became friends through drifting and decided to go out to dinner one night. It was Alec, his girlfriend and Tanner, so, they wanted me to join so Tanner wasn’t third wheeling. My response: “fine. i’ll be the filler” (i couldn’t sound too eager lol) and the rest was history. ;)

We were on vacation in Paris. One morning, we woke up at 6am to catch the sunrise with a photographer. I booked it for “couples photos” but little did I know it was going to be so much more than that. At the end of our session, I was getting solo photos done and Tanner (without me noticing) leaned to the photographer behind a tree and said “I have a ring in my pocket”. Holding her composure, the photographer insisted on a few more couples photos to end the morning. Not too long into them, I turned to my side and Tanner was on one knee.
