Welcome to The Reid-Do!

In 2020, the world came to a halt due to the COVID pandemic. Anna downloaded several mobile games, from Bricks & Balls to State of Survival (SOS), as she was isolated during lockdown. When she downloaded SOS, she had no idea she would be playing with people all over the world. As 4th of July neared, a man had joined her alliance in this disaster of a game. Cue...Clyde. At that time, Sam was using an alias! These two people started chatting away, from boredom and curiosity, but as time went on...an attachment between the two formed. For now, we will call this a friendship. During that time, Anna was very apprehensive about this man...who seemed to be the man of her dreams but was so far away. (What a joke!) These two spent hours having deep talks, laughing, playing pranks and finding new games to play together. More importantly, they discussed values...including faith. Sam, after watching Crossroads Church Aurora online, became a Christian. He had no idea that it was a deal-breaker for Anna...but wow...did this friendship take a turn! This friendly flirtation turned to a romantic relationship! Fast forward to September 2021, after hours of phone calls, texting and video chats--Anna and Sam flew to Malta (the country) to meet IN REAL LIFE for the first time ever. This was followed by Anna flying to England in November to meet the Reids and promptly after, Sam flew home with Anna to meet her parents (and other important characters) during Thanksgiving.

...and after the Thanksgiving trip, Sam made another trip for Christmas 2021 and met Anna's extended family. He had no idea what was in store meeting the whole Fink Family! (BUT HE LOVED IT.) It was a true test of love as he embarked on this journey to meet 20+ people that Anna loved dearly...not to mention the tire she popped on the way to her aunt's house! Luckily, Sam was able to throw on the spare without any assistance, which was great because Mr. Fink had hopped out of his own family's car to ensure his daughter's safety! Everyone was impressed with Sam's ability to change the tire under such circumstances. During this trip, Sam painstakingly planned a date night on January 13th. He took Anna bowling, where she smashed his score without any remorse, because this was something they had enjoyed doing in England together. After his loss, he graciously took Anna to Paris Bistro...a restaurant that had come up during his deep dive research for gluten free food (Anna's kryptonite). After a lovely meal together, Sam used Anna's bathroom break as an excuse to get out of their booth and get down on one knee. He declared his love and admiration for Anna...which she doesn't remember due to the excitement and tears. What matters here is Anna said YES. Now, we would like to make a note here...Anna and Sam did legally wed in Denmark on Twosday, 2.22.22 or...if you're in Europe it was 22.2.22. However, it was a small gathering of parents and sisters. They LOVED this wedding and were so happy many of their loved ones were able to ZOOM in. HOWEVER, they have been waiting and waiting to celebrate with family, framily and friends. AND THAT'S WHY WE ARE HERE!
