May 2018 (Dallas, TX). The first night we met at Kim and Dave’s wedding

June 2018 (Morrison, CO). Our official first date, seeing Kaleo at Red Rocks

June 2018 (Colorado Springs, CO). The first of many long distance trips. Most memorable moment: getting caught in the hail during a hike and Thatcher failing to mention it was his birthday.

July 2018 (Big Sur, CA). Hiked, picnicked with some seals, and glamped in a yurt at Treebones.

September 2018 (Niantic, CT). Mast fell down while sailing and we had to row ourselves back to land. We really started falling for each other on this trip. Thatcher uttered the words first though.

October 2018 (Tabernash, CO). Found forever dance partners in each other at Sam and Joe’s wedding.

November 2018 (Monterey, CA). Thatcher’s first Ramsey get-together for Thanksgiving. And he was Finn-approved - a very big deal for Leta.

December 2018 (St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria). On the invite of Pat Martin, Thatch got Leta back on skis after a 15-year hiatus.

January 2019 (And set the bar very high. And after getting lost in a blizzard, Leta still liked Thatcher and still skis.)

February 2019 (Lake Tahoe, CA). Not captured: the 16-hour drive from Sacramento to get there, the one bag of chips we had to share, and our patient road warriors, Dave and Kim.

March 2019 (Seattle, WA). Wined and dined then stayed in a cozy yurt at the base of Mt. Rainier. We fell in love with WA on this trip and had no idea that we would moving there a year later.

March 2019 (Florida Keys), Tallying up more dances with each other at Alana and Andy’s wedding.

May 2019 (Moab, UT). Alice and Pat’s wedding, meeting Thatcher’s parents for the first time.

June 2019 (Bridgton, ME). Leta’s first family trip with the Merrill’s.

July 2019 (Grapevine, Texas). Thatcher's first, and probably last, summer in Texas. Also his first encounter with the Texas Wenches - Jordan and Melissa.

August 2019 (Boston, MA). Shared in our mutual love of history, Italian food, and music in the park.

September 2019 (Asheville, NC). Quality time spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

October 2019 (West Virginia), Tested out our new double sleeping bag and air mattress.

November 2019 (Charleston, SC) More history, more food, and of course, more dancing at Amy and Vinnie’s wedding.

July 2020 (Denver, CO). Reunited during the pandemic on the drive from Texas to Washington, having not seen each other in 139 days.

July 4, 2020 (Stanley, Idaho). Spontaneously slept on top of the 5x8 Uhaul with only moving blankets and a single sleeping bag. Woke up covered in frost but in such good spirits to be together.

September 2020 (North Cascades, WA). Enter TobbogVan - her first trip in WA, kayaked in Diablo Lake, ate in Mazama, and drooled over the views of our new home.

September 2020 (Lake Ozette, Olympic Peninsula)

October 2020 (Mt. Adams)

November 2020 (West Glacier, Montana). First solo Thanksgiving, stealthily stayed the night in the park & "tested" the heater. Not pictured: Leta’s severed thumb from preparing a mobile holiday feast.

December 2020 (Steven’s Pass). The van’s first successful drive in the snow and night skiing for the win.

May 2021 (Hoh Rainforest, Olympic Peninsula). Our last trip together before Thatcher's planned 6 month business trip. He asked about ring preferences and wedding plans. Little did Leta know...

May 2021 (Fredericksburg, TX). At a little vineyard called Ad Astris, Raya casually trailed Thatcher and Leta to an old oak tree. He reminded her of all their joys and hardships - and asked for more.

And then we said 'yes' to this nincompoop. (Nashoba - "Nash")
